David A. Dodd is a global leader in economic development and disaster resilience. In his 20+ year background in economic development, he served as Dean of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute, has worked in 47 states, and on 4 continents.
Since entering disaster resilience 19 years ago through Hurricane Katrina, David has been involved in economic recovery and resilience efforts for 17 major disasters in the U.S., Mexico, Japan, and Australia. He is the founding Chairman and CEO of the International Sustainable Resilience Center, Inc., or ISRC, a nonprofit dedicated to disaster resilience and recovery, specializing in economic resilience. David is a Certified Economic Developer, Fellow Member, and Honorary Life Member of the International Economic Development Council.
David draws on his career in economic and community disaster resilience, coupled with his personal adaptation skills, in a unique leadership learning experience.
